Rebel was our second bloodhound and our first to champion.  With limited showing and a very green handler (Kurt) Rebel finished his championship at the St. Claire Kennel Club show, beating a special to take Best of Breed from the 12 to 18 month class.  Rebel took two Hound Group Two placements in 2005.  As of March 2007 Rebel has sired two litters.  One of the puppies from the second litter is our Phire.

Rebel has been OFA tested for elbows (normal); hips (good) and heart (normal).

Rebel is easy going and wants to please.  He loves to sit next to Connie at breakfast and beg for a piece of bagel or the leftover milk from her cereal.  His favorite treats include Gold Fish crackers and ice cubes.  He enjoys running in the pastures and going for walks.  Everywhere Rebel goes people stop and admire him, wanting to pet him.  He loves the attention.
