Cat was our third bloodhound. We were very anxious to get her bloodlines and waited for two years for the opportunity to have her join our growing bloodhound family. She was our second bloodhound to champion. Cat won her first major (4 point) at the Terre Haute Kennel Club Show from the 6-9 month puppy class. Cat finished her championship at the Anderson Kennel Club Show with majors on Friday and Sunday from the 9-12 month class. At the 2006 American Bloodhound Club National Specialty Cat won Best Opposite Junior Futurity.
Cat has exceptional hearing when it comes to the bags from the chips or crackers. Her and PJ will sit at the foot of Kurt’s chair when the television is on and eat crackers and chips with him. Cat loves to be close to people. If there are no munchies at television time she will lie on the couch next to us and put her head in one of our laps. Her favorite place to sleep is in our bed between the two of us, where she can feel both us with her at night.
