Belle was our first bloodhound.  We tell her frequently she is the reason for the rest of them.  She is the queen of the house.  She spends most of her day ruling from either our bed or the dog bed.  At night she does move to the bottom of the bed to allow room for Cat and us.  Belle did limited showing as a puppy, however she is better suited to running the house.  Belle has a great nose and loves to go for walks in her trailing harness, either trailing one of us or raccoons.  Belle has a tendency to be a bit stubborn and earning her Canine Good Citizenship title was a test of wills.  When riding in a vehicle she prefers the front passenger seat and is not above taking it before one of us can get into it.

Some of her favorite toys are plastic bottles, zanies stuffed animals (which are disemboweled in less than 5 minutes) and whatever toy someone else has.

Belle had one litter of one puppy.  It was the most spoiled puppy you could imagine.  Since then Belle has been spayed.
